STRUGGLE AND HOPE

Psalm 73:21-23
“When my heart was grieved and my spirit embittered,?I was senseless?and ignorant; I was a brute beast?before you. Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand.”
The answer to a lonely heart is to draw near to God! If we truly love God, we will love to spend time with God.
Use the time such as this to draw near to God. Build your personal and family altar of worship. Increase your prayer time.

Psalm 73:24
“You guide?me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory.
The Psalmist realized that after the hardship passed, God lifted him. Read your Bible more, as well as other beneficial books. Do not fill yourself with junks.

Psalm 73:25
“Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you.”
God tears apart wrong priorities. In times like this, we understand more about what’s important in life. Re-write your book of life, reset your priorities.

Psalm 73:26
“My flesh and my heart?may fail, but God is the strength?of my heart and my portion?forever.”
Nowadays, we’re being taught about how to live with ourselves, preparing ourselves for the old days. Live a happy life in God. Learn to enjoy doing nothing. Do not waste your time pitying yourself, but forgive yourself.

Psalm 73:27
“Those who are far from you will perish; you destroy all who are unfaithful?to you.”
In times like this, do not fall into sin. Sanctify the Sabbath. Not the actual day, but the Sabbath. Rest is holy.

Psalm 73:28
“But as for me, it is good to be near God.?I have made the Sovereign?Lord?my refuge;?I will tell of all your deeds.”
The greatest blessing is when we find our refuge in God.
