FAITH IN THE MIDST OF LIFE CRISIS - PART 2

Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil. And he still maintains his integrity, though you incited me against him to ruin him without any reason.” (Job 2:3)

Three attitudes of the heart we must have in the midst of life crisis:
1. A solid faith.
2. Be honest about your conditions and feelings.
3. To have self-control in the midst of uncertainty.

Do not blame God for the life crisis that we are going through. Instead, we need God even more at times like this. All negative thoughts about God are never proven, because His plans are to prosper us, not to harm us.

Satan's accusations against God’s children before God are:
1. They only love themselves.
2. They fear death instead of fearing God.

Let's prove that Satan is wrong about us. Be a true Christian, who loves God instead of himself!

The tongue controls the whole body and have power to turn things around. A loose tongue will cause the whole body to (lose control and) panic. Make sure that our tongues glorify Him, like Job did:
His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble? In all this, Job did not sin in what he said,” (Job 2:9-10).

Three reasons why we should accept “trouble” from God (too):
1. Divine provision is not our right, so do not demand only good things.
2. Divine detoxification is needed to purify our souls, because our lives are too comfortable.
3. Life in this world is only temporary, and every imperfection is a test of faith.

Whatever is lost now will surely be restored, and all that is broken will be mended again by God. That is the meaning of plans to prosper in the midst of life crisis! When in the crisis of life, let our faith take root in God. Solid faith always trusts and is not skeptical; and solid faith has a tongue that always praise His works and His glory!

Hold on to these three truths in times of crisis:
1. It is precisely in times of crisis that peace becomes real.
2. In the midst of a life crisis, acknowledge the Word. Proclaiming God’s promises of God has power to turn things around!
3. Don't deny the power of God. Trust, admit, and experience it!
